Large layered laser cut retro clock 39cm

Description

This is a contemporary, layered, laser cut real wood faced wall clock in a retro style.

The clock face measures 39cm diameter and comes with a high quality German made UTS quartz movement.

The clock begins its life by being laser cut from veneered board. Oak is used for a light and contemporary feel, with walnut for a darker and more imposing look.  Also very pale yellow ash and a luxury option of stripey zebrano are available.  I hand choose the sheets from the wood merchants and decide which part of the board will be used, to ensure that no knots or veneer joins are included.

The colours of the layers can be chosen by you.  Here they are light blue/dark blue.  Please contact me if you have specific colours you’d like to use as any combination is possible.

I finish each face by hand sanding. The face is left untreated in order to highlight the paleness of the oak, while the walnut is given a lacquer to bring out the richness of the grain.

Each clock is given a final check before being well packaged to arrive safely at your door.
